Question 1

How does SplitVerse work?

Accepted Answer

Create a group for a trip, household or occasion, add the people involved, and log expenses as they happen. SplitVerse automatically calculates who paid, who owes what, and keeps a running balance so nobody has to do the math by hand.

Question 2

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with industry-standard security practices. We never sell your personal information, and you're always in control of what you share.

Question 3

Can I use SplitVerse without contacts permission?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Contacts access is entirely optional and only used to help you find friends already on SplitVerse. If you decline it, you can still add friends manually using their name, phone number or email.

Question 4

Can I create trip groups?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When creating a group, choose the "Trip / Event" type to add destination details, trip dates, and an optional shared trip wallet for pooling group funds.

Question 5

How do settlements work?

Accepted Answer

SplitVerse continuously tracks each member's balance within a group. When it's time to settle up, you can see exactly who owes whom and mark expenses as settled once the balance has been cleared outside the app.

Question 6

Does SplitVerse support recurring expenses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can set up recurring expenses and recurring income — like rent or subscriptions — so they're logged on schedule without re-entering them every time.

Question 7

Is SplitVerse free to use?

Accepted Answer

SplitVerse is free to download, and core expense tracking and splitting features are available at no cost.

Question 8

Which platforms is SplitVerse available on?

Accepted Answer

SplitVerse is available on iOS via the App Store and on Android via Google Play.
